The Leeds suburb boasts some fabulous restaurants, from fancy bistros to cheap and cheerful Indian restaurants. Here we reveal the top 10 restaurants in Headingley, according to reviews on Tripadvisor.
7. Jino's Thai Cafe
After huge demand for deliveries during lockdown, this family-run Headingley restaurant has moved to a larger venue on North Lane. The menu includes classics such as green curry and Pad Thai, as well as street food bites like tiger prawns and veg tempura. Pictured is head chef Nathan Brown with the Pad Krapao Kai Dow dish
8. Salvo's
The Dammone family opened their Otley Road restaurant more than 40 years ago, and they take their Italian heritage very seriously - cooking simple yet delicious pastas, pizzas, antipasti and nibbles. A stand-out dish is the risotto di mare - a fresh prawns, mussel and queen scallop risotto served with sun-dried tomatoes and chive oil.
9. Giorgio's Ristorante Italiano
One reviewer said: "We had the gnocci and smoked salmon ravioli. Quite simply the best Italian I have ever had. Creamy and so flavoursome. The service was homely and George was delightful."
10. Manahatta
One reviewer said: "Our server was fantastic and kept the prosecco flowing while we enjoyed the delicious food. Definitely recommend the high line--fried chicken, bacon and pancakes."
