Gin and Prosecco festival set to fizz things up in Leeds next month

The Gin and Prosecco Festival will be taking place at Yeadon Town Hall in March.

If you love gin and prosecco then this festival will have you fizzing with joy.

The Gin & Prosecco Festival will make its debut at the grade II listed Yeadon Town Hall on Saturday March 9, showcasing no less than 40 gins.

Twenty will be from UK distillers and another 20 from around the world.

Guests will be able to soak up live music, masterclasses, premium street food and of course, plenty of drinks.

Seven sample stations headed up by Monkey 47, Plymouth Sloe, Warner Edwards, Pembrokeshire Gin, Molvino Wines, Hayman Gin, Whitley Neill and JJ Whitely will be handing out freebies and offering guests chance to buy a bottle.

Meanwhile, fans of fizz can unwind in the Prosecco Garden, which will be serving up flutes of the good stuff on a faux grassed terrace.

Entertainment will come in the shape of live music from award-winning local talent, including singer and guitarist, Thomas Lillywhite. Guests can also partake in a range of gin-centric masterclasses, where expert mixologists will be on hand to demonstrate how to create the perfect G&T.

For £12 you will get entry into one of two sessions (12-4pm or 4.45-8.30pm), a welcome gin cocktail or glass of Prosecco, a branded souvenir gin glass, tasting booklet and a mini masterclass.There will also be a house bar serving up a selection of lagers, ales and wines.
