Every Leeds restaurant shortlisted in the British Restaurant Awards 2022 - including Sukhothai and Tattu

The nominees for the British Restaurant Awards 2022 have been announced – and several Leeds restaurants have made the cut.

The British Restaurant Awards (BRA) is an annual awards ceremony that picks out the best places to eat across the country.

Hosted by the World Restaurant Awards Group (WRAG), customers are invited to vote for their favourite restaurants across a range of categories.

There are 10 restaurants in the running for ‘Best Restaurant Leeds’.

And a further two Leeds restaurants have been nominated in other categories, competing against restaurants from across the country.

Winners will be announced during a ceremony at the Sway, London, on September 12.

Tattu is a contemporary Chinese restaurant on East Parade that's a hit with the city's celebs. The striking restaurant fuses traditional flavours with modern cooking methods and exquisite presentation.

Granary Wharf restaurant Fazenda offers a unique Rodizio way of dining. Servers carve up 15 types of grilled meat at your table, with a wide range of salads and hot dishes.

Sous Le Nez is a French dining room tucked away in a basement in Quebec Street. Diners can feast on the classical French menu along with something from the 40-page wine list.

Chef Jono at V&V is a restaurant by Masterchef finalist Jono Hawthorne, offering a modern British dining experience with a focus on seasonal ingredients. Chef Jono won Best Chef at the YEP's Oliver Awards earlier this year.
