The Otley Run group was set up of members from several venues along the run at the start of the 2023 as a way of promoting information about the bar crawl and ensuring that those taking part know which venues they need to go to.
A spokesperson said: “The aim of this was just provide the most accurate information and showcase events at the pubs across the run. We do also want to promote the run as a fun activity that is a staple of student life within Leeds.”

. Woodies Craft Ale House
Start your route here as you move closer and closer to Leeds city centre through each drink you enjoy along the way. Woodies Craft Ale House is open from noon until 11pm each day of the week, so it’s definitely worth starting your run in the afternoon, to make sure you hit every open pub. Simply walk in or, to make sure you’re staying on track, book a table in advance. Keep an eye on their social media, as they update their availability, and take it easy, it’s only the first stop. . The New Inn
The New Inn is the third stop on the Otley Run, an old traditional pub with bay windows looking out on the road and a low ceiling. With some good deals on shots, it's one that runners can often get away with just slipping in briefly to. Photo: Google
. Headingley Taps
As you’re getting closer to Woodhouse, settle in with a pint at the Headingley Taps. Located in the heart of Headingley, it becomes a fun and lively venue at night, while offering a quiet and cosy atmosphere in the afternoon. Photo: Mark Bickerdike
. Manahatta
There's a bit of a change of feel with the fifth spot on the Otley Run - Manahatta bar in Headingley - which sees a step away from the traditional pubs and bars into more swish and swanky surroundings. 7. Box
The next stop is at The Box, which is a very popular venue with sports fans that becomes very lively on game days. It’s also a boozer with a modern look and great outdoor seating ideal for watching the other Otley Runners come and go. Photo: Google
8. The Skyrack
The Skyrack is a local landmark and just a quick walk from The Box. The venue has plenty of room both inside and outside and is a great place to grab a fish finger sandwich or burger as you approach the half way point. Photo: Steve Riding
9. The Original Oak
Another traditional pub on the run, The Original Oak has space both inside and outside to accommodate the Otley Runners who may be starting to tire and the cricket fans and regular punters who may not know what they've walked into. Photo: Google
10. The Hyde Park
