Catch Headingley and Street Lane fish and chip shops launch bottomless mussels deal to celebrate lockdown success

Catch has branches in Headingley and on Street Lane in Leeds

The two sites opened in Leeds last year, with Headingley first in August followed by Street Lane in October.

Despite operating as takeaways for the majority of their time so far, Catch boasts of its success through these expansions during what has been a tough time for hospitality.

Now, to celebrate, the seafood restaurant brand is offering unlimited mussels every Monday at the two Leeds restaurants.

The bottomless mussel deal will be available all day every Monday from June 7.

Diners can enjoy bottomless mussels and bread for just £15 per person all day for a limited time only.

The menu offers fresh, Shetlannd rope-grown mussels with nduja, chilli and ginger, and Marinière flavours, all served with fries.

The Mussel Mondays deal was first introduced in October 2020 but is now returning on June 7 by popular demand.

Managing director, Sarah Stuttle, said “Like many others, we were devastated to have to close back in March 2020, but thankfully we have had great support from our customers throughout the pandemic.

"We have been able to continue as planned with our expansion, and looking back, although it’s been a challenge, it’s also a huge achievement and a testament to the Catch brand.

"We’re optimistic about the future as our restaurants begin to open.

"We can’t wait to welcome back our loyal customers, and some new friendly faces in our more recently opened sites.”

Catch is a family fish and seafood business with restaurants also in Holmfirth, West Vale and Harrogate.

Harrogate is the newest Catch, after opening its doors on May 18 following a £250,000 refurbishment.

The North Yorkshire venue has an exclusive brand new Champagne and Oyster Bar as well.
