Oporto, Neon Cactus, Jake's Bar and Still Room and new addition to Call Lane Power, Corruption and Lies - staples of the Leeds nightlife scene - will now be serving up their own takes on all day dining and drinking, from Mexican eggs to vegan McMuffins, breakfast burritos and boozy afternoon tea parties.

They are all part of Leeds-based bar and restaurant group Akito Ltd, who hope the move will encourage punters to visit their venues earlier in the day.

Each bar's new menu is available now.

Project Manager Lucy Cheetham said: “Our late night bars have to evolve, adapt and innovate with the new 10pm curfew.

"We needed agile solutions and adapted strategies to continue to trade earlier in the day.

"We may be most famous for our late night party scene but with three of our bars already serving fantastic lunch and dinner menus (Neon Cactus, Power, Corruption and Lies, and Knaves Kitchen/Oporto), we are turning our creative hands to some exciting brunch and daytime wet-led initiatives too.

"Our fourth site Jake’s Bar & Still, although not food-led, is known to be one of the best cocktail bars in the UK with a talented team of bartenders, and whilst we don’t have a dining experience here, driving an innovative wet-led ‘Afternoon Tea’ made sense and is a really exciting prospect for us.”

What's on offer?

Oporto

For their ‘Knaves Vegan Breakfast Club’, popular vegan eatery Knaves Kitchen (based in dive bar Oporto), is offering up a range of plant-based delights from 10am to 3pm every day of the week.
