The city centre and bars across Leeds were packed out with returning loyal customers, eager to support local and independent breweries and pubs.

Anja Madhvani - Springwell Leeds:
"Today at Springwell was a delight.
"So many happy customers, lots of jokes, everyone was patience and friendly, and I loved being part of a team again.

"Lots of people about, bookings and walk ins.
"People following guidelines.
"The team have also been great.
"Weather helping with all having to be outside.
"Headingley looks busy too. Nice to see people back out!"

"Customers and staff have been fantastic."
Clark Bradley - bartender Union Square Bar and Kitchen:
"I'm a bartender here, it's been pretty smooth so far, more food going out today during the day and everyone seems to understand the table service and covid rules by now which makes things a fair bit easier."
Horsforth Brewery:
"Had a great time yesterday, hopefully our visitors did too. Had a few comments about the ‘beautiful’ smell from the brew going on in the room next to the patio."
