Now a fully-pedestrianised street with some of the city's most vibrant bars and restaurants, there's nothing like a night out on Greek Street. Here, we've put together a guide to every venue you can expect to find, and all that they offer.
7. Gusto
Serving classic Italian food in a sophisticated setting, Gusto is the perfect place to start an evening on Greek Street. If you’re feeling really fancy, Gusto’s steak for two experience comes with a 18oz Chateaubriand with a bottle of A Mano ‘Prima Mano’ Primitivo - a rich, full-bodied wine decanted at your table.
8. Bar Soba
This Asian-fusion restaurant combines street food with classic-inspired cocktails, paying homage to the vendors of South East Asian night markets. Its bottomless brunch is one of the best in Leeds; unlimited prosecco, beer or selected cocktails served with dishes such as Pad Thai, Nasi Goreng and teriyaki noodles. Photo: Google
9. The Lost and Found
This Victorian-inspired hideaway serves a bountiful selection of seasonal food, including seared wild-caught scallops, maple-glazed pork belly and black truffle pappardelle. It’s one of Greek Street’s more laidback bars, serving classic cocktails, and a selection of wine, specialty beers and lagers.
10. The Liquourist
If you’re after a classic, well-shaken cocktail without the fuss, The Liqourist is the place for you. The premium bar serves excellent beers, wine, cocktails and delicious food - and its resident DJ Smiler brings the party on weekends.
11. Indian Tiffin Room
This beautiful-decorated restaurant on the corner of Greek Street and Park Row serves street food inspired by the bustling cities of India. It offers authentic dishes such as dosa (rice pancakes), thali (a mini buffet on a plate), an array of chaats, kebabs, Indo-Chinese food and more.
12. Beckett's Bank
Our final stop on Greek Street is Beckett’s Bank, one of the busiest Wetherspoons in Leeds. It’s cheap, cheerful and there’s always something going on, with plenty of outdoor seating for the sunny months.
