Leo is a male five-year-old Staffordshire Cross who is looking for a new home.

According to Leeds Dogs Trust he is an energetic bundle of fun who is full of energy, but he isn't for the faint hearted.

With some understanding owners who can give Leo some basic training, the Trust says he should settle into his new home.

Leo doesn't like being alone and his owners will need to be around him all the time but he loves a good cuddle on the sofa.

He is an active dog who loves his walks but he is strong on the lead so would benefit from loose lead walk training and access to quiet walks.

Leo is looking for an adult-only home where he is the only pet, and where he will not be met by too many visitors.

The Trust said he loves his toys and especially a good game of ragger - as long as he wins.

Leo sometimes might need to sleep in the bedroom.

Owners who have experience with basic training and the Staffordshire breed would be beneficial to Leo.

Due to Covid travel restrictions, potential adopters must live within one hour of the Leeds Dogs Trust centre which is based at Woodlands Farm on York Road in LS15.

The Trust says any adopters would need to speak to its behaviour team before meeting Leo.

There are also 14 other dogs at Leeds Dogs Trust who need rehoming - meet them here.
