Vegan fried chicken and £1 prosecco launched at Yard & Coop in Leeds

Buttermilk fried chicken specialists Yard & Coop have launched a new vegan menu and a tempting £1 prosecco deal for January in Leeds.

The restaurant on Merrion Street is known for its quirky fried chicken dishes, such as a Chinese takeaway burger and 'Maccies brekkie'.

Vegetarians and vegans can now enjoy three new dishes on a select menu.

The stand-out dish is the Greta Thun-Buger - vegan fried chicken stacked with a potato and pulled not-so-chicken patty, hash brown, vegan cheese and plenty of spicy salsa.

The vegan fried chicken can also be enjoyed on its own with a side of skin-on chips, or on top of a basket of loaded fries.

Diners can get a glass of prosecco for just £1 throughout their meal when they choose any large plate, burger or chicken feast, or vegan meal.

The offer will run until the end of January and must be booked in advance, quoting '£1 prosecco'.
