Tesco and McDonald’s are giving away free carrots for Rudolph - here’s how to get some

Youngsters across the country will be excitedly looking forward to Santa visiting their home on Christmas Eve.

Hide AdFor many, it is a long standing tradition to leave out a selection of treats for Santa and his reindeer to enjoy after dropping off the presents.
Snacks typically include mince pies, cookies and a glass of milk, plus some carrots for Santa’s reindeer to munch on.
To help kids prepare for the special visit, Tesco is giving away free carrots in its stores for children to leave out for Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer gang.

The free reindeer treats will only be available in the supermarket’s larger stores, which include Tesco Extras and Tesco Superstores.
Children will be able to pick up some free carrots up until Thursday 24 December from the stands inside stores.
The carrots are available to all shoppers until stocks last.

McDonald’s reindeer treats
As well as Tesco, fast food chain McDonald’s will also be giving away free carrots for customers to leave out for Santa’s reindeer.
The free bags of ‘reindeer treats’, which include miniature carrot sticks, will be available for free on Christmas Eve.

Hide AdTo claim your bag, simply ask for your free reindeer treats when visiting a McDonald’s restaurant. The bags will not be available online for delivery, but customers do not need to make a purchase to receive the treats.
