Get your skates on – the White Rose Christmas Ice Rink has returned to Leeds and you can win free tickets

The family-friendly attraction in Leeds, which was a huge hit with guests last Christmas has returned to The Village, near Cineworld, and will stay open until Sunday 7th January, 2024. And, you can win free tickets (see below).

White Rose’s magical ice rink is made of real ice, brought to life using special rapid-freeze technology, and is fully covered to ensure bad weather won’t affect the festive fun.

The rink is suitable for skaters of all ages and is accessible for all, with bookable Parent & Toddler or Quiet Sessions, and even exclusive Disco Nights every Friday. Ice skates will be available to hire, and penguin & seal skating aids are available for the little ones – or those wanting an extra hand with their balance.

Sessions are available daily until Sunday 7th January 2024 (except Christmas Day). White Rose restaurants will also be open to enjoy pre or après ski refreshments, including those outside in The Village: Starbucks (inside Cineworld), Wagamama, Five Guys, Fridays, and the new Bianco Lounge and Wetherspoon, The Scribbling Mill.

As well as the ice rink, the centre is hosting a wonderous new grotto, where visitors can meet Santa in his vintage train carriage en route to the North Pole. Little ones are able to share their Christmas wishes right up until Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th December.

Steven Foster, Centre Director at White Rose Shopping Centre, said: “Christmas is truly one of the most magical times of the year here at White Rose, and we’re so excited to unveil our brand-new Christmas decorations.

“Guests have been delighted to see the return of our outdoor, weather-proof ice rink this year. Thankfully skate aids are on-hand for those of us that need them, and our restaurants in The Village will be serving refreshments to warm up chilly skaters.
