If you’re keen to blow off the cobwebs and soak up some scenery this Christmas, Leeds has plenty of beautiful spots to enjoy a leisurely stroll. From historic estates, to enchanting woodland, here are 11 walking trails to take a wander down this festive season.
7. Meanwood Valley Trail
A seven=mile walk from the heart of Leeds to Golden Acre park on the northern fringes. It’s probably one of the top five urban was in Britain, and most of the time it’s hard to believe you are in an urban area. These woods are beyond Meanwood Park. Photo: Other 3rd Party
8. Yeadon Tarn
Stretching across 17 hectares this park is a great location for a lazy stroll, as well as for more adventurous outdoor pursuits, with a playground, BMX track, bowls and water sport activities on offer. Photo: Tony Johnson
9. Golden Acre Park

10. Eccup Reservoir

11. Post Hill
