19. Foxes
Out to the suburbs for this one. Foxes nightclub on Harrogate Road in Chapel Allerton was a popular after-dark destination for the city’s revellers during the 1980s.
Tucked away at the bottom of a staircase inside the Merrion Centre, the club opened in 1979 and catered for punks, goths, rockers and other fans of alternative music.
