When Leeds United stars swapped football boots for wellington boots

Frank Gray and Peter Barnes helped Leeds schoolchildren tackle a tricky job in November 1981.

They were joined by teammates Derek Parlane, John Lukic and manager Allan Clarke.

Together with children from four Leeds schools they planted a dozen saplings at Hollybush Farm on Kirkstall Bridge organised by the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers to celebrate National Tree Work.
