The season Leeds United finished as bridesmaids once more

It was the season which saw Leeds United finish as bridesmaids once more.

Having finished second in the league and runners up in the Inter Cities Fairs Cup the previous season the 1966/67 campaign again proved a case of so close yet so far. This time the Whites finished fourth in the league, reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup and lost the final of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup over two legs against Dinamo Zagreb.
