Kemar Roofe, a summer signing from Oxford United, ended his 22-game goalless streak when he head home against Aston Villa in a televised clash under the Elland Road floodlights in December 2016. Chris Wood secured the points with an injury time second as the win propelled Leeds United to fourth in the Sky Bet Championship. The win was sweet revenge for the Whites, who have not faced Villa since the two met in the Premier League 12 years ago.
