Rare archive footage shows Brian Clough’s famous Frost Leeds United interview
It proved to be an intimate and revealing interview with a Leeds United manager who lasted just 44 days in the job.
First transmitted in 1974, Sir David Frost talks to former footballer turned manager Brian Clough who at the time had been sacked by the club's directors after just 44 days.
He had joined the club in July 1974 after Don Revie left to become England manager but only lasted until September 1974 when he was relieved of his duties.

Leeds were fourth from bottom in 19th position with only four points from a possible 12, their worst start since their last relegation campaign 15 years earlier.
