Peter Lorimer was widely regarded as having one of the hardest shots in football which earned him the nicknames HotShot, Lash and Thunderboots. After making his Leeds United debut at just 15 years and 289 days in September 1962 - another club record - he would go on to score 238 goals for the club in two spells. He played a huge part during the club's most successful period in its history and was voted ninth in an official list of the club's 100 greatest players. These photos, a mix from the YEP archive, Getty, and others published courtesy of Varley Picture Agency, are sure to evoke happy memories for a generation of fans who enjoyed watching him in action during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
