And they have been always there for us when we needed that pint of milk, a loaf of bread, a packet of sweets, a bottle of wine, or groceries. These photos celebrate the humble corner shop which have been part of the city's fabric for generations. They are published courtesy of photographic archive Leodis, which is run by Leeds Library & Information Service.
