The Whites once again raised their game with a 4-1 demolition of Belgian champions Anderlecht in February 2001, a team which had not lost at home in 21 games. Manchester United, PSV Eindhoven and Lazio had all been sent packing from the Constant Van Den Stock Stadium but Leeds refused to be intimidated. It was a performance and result in which the Whites not only enhanced their blossoming reputation as fearless travellers but also propelled them into the quarter-finals of the Champions League with two group matches to spare. "I'm so proud of my players. The incentive was there to prove people wrong and we've done just that," reflected manager David O'Leary. "We're not a bad little team and we can only get better. I'm sure we have surprised a lot of people across Europe." Enjoy these photo memories of a night to remember for the mighty Whites and travelling faithful.
