7. Embassy
Embassy on Roundhay Road was a restaurant which refused to change for the sake of it and whose customers were quick to object to even the merest suggestion of it. Pictured here in September 1989 it had been welcoming diners since first opening in 1968.
8. Gardini's
Greek Street in the city centre was home for Gardini's Terrazza restaurant pictured in September 1982.
9. Le Jardinet
The creperie upstairs at Le Jardinet in the Bond Street Centre pictured in November 1982.
10. The Himalyan Garden
March 1988 and pictured is general manager Tariq Shafiq and his staff who converted The Himalyan Garden in Moortown from a Chinese restaurant to the first Indian restaurant in the area.
11. The Olive Tree
