It was a month charity and fundraising featured high on the city's news agenda. Young harpist Mille Womack delighted shoppers at Sainsbury's in Moortown raising hundreds of pounds for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). And a floral tribute was unveiled at Canal Gardens in Roundhay to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). Elsewhere a Leeds school was building back better while young residents on a Leeds street got creative to issue a no-nonsense message to motorists - slow down!
