Elsewhere a pupils and parents at a closure-threatened Leeds primary were fighting for its future while an up and coming female boxer took to the ring at Leeds Central Ex-Servicemans Club. Leeds United unveiled a new signing, a defender who became the first ever Austrian outfield player to play in the Premier League, while love was in the air at the city's annual Valentine's Fair.
