How Leeds United ended a turbulent season on a high

It was a last gasp win which ended a turbulent and traumatic season for Leeds United and their fans.

The Whites 3-1 win against Aston Villa at Elland Road on the final day of the 2002/03 season was Peter Reid's first game as full-time manager. It was a result which meant United leapfrogged their opponents in the final Premiership table into 15th place. The game also featured a first start young striker Simon Johnson, player who studied at Boston Spa Academy during his time in the club's academy.
