For a player it is the perfect way to endear yourself to the Elland Road faithful.
All these players from full backs to strikers scored on their Leeds United debut and in doing so wrote their name into the club's record books and folklore. The Scandinavian striker's dreams all came true on one winter's afternoon in January 1993. His debut goal just 11 minutes after entering the fray against Middlesbrough at Elland Road proved the one highlight in a turgid time at Leeds.
Changed the game in an instant when he replaced Clyde Wijnhard after 76 minutes at Anfield in November 1998. Swept home a first time effort past David James to silence the Kop.
Scored a brace on his debut at Elland Road as the Whites ripped apart Burton Albion 5-0. So one-sided it took the Brewers until the 75th minute to muster an effort on goal.
