2004 marked the end of an era as Tetley was dropped from the Carlsberg-Tetley name six years after being taken over by the Danish brewing giant. It was a 12 months which featured Leeds' s own Jane Tomlinson returning back to a hero's welcome in Leeds after completing her latest fundraising challenge. The former Mint Methodist Chapel on Moor View in January 2004. The area was known as Mint and the road now called Moor View was originally called Mint. The chapel was built in 1892 and could seat 350 people. The last services were in 1973 and it was then used for commercial premise and later renamed Portland House.
