They turn back the clock to the 1960s and the 1970s when browsing then buying at a wide-range of range of shops was the norm for bargain-hunters. 13. Wigfalls
March 1973 and the new Wigfalls super store had opened on Boar Lane at the junction with New Market Street.
14. Yates's Wine Lodge
Time was set to be called on Yates's Wine Lodge on Bond Street in August 1974.
15. C&A
April 1968 and C&A branched out with a new extension to its existing store devoated soely to men's clothing. The new store was 200 yards away from the main C&A building on Boar Lane.
