The L.A. Bowl on Sweet Street in Hunslet played host to some 32 teams of five players who took part in 'blindfold bowling' in aid of the West Yorkshire area of the Royal National Institute for the Blind. The restrictive blindfold simulated the difficulties a visually impaired person might encounter.
