1988 kicked off with a win in the Yorkshire derby against Bradford City at Elland Road in front of more than 36,000 fans. Glynn Snodin and Gary Williams, pictured, scored for Leeds in a 2-0 win.

Leeds United had 19 shots against managerless Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on New Year's Day 2019 but could not find a breakthrough.
