Your vote could win these Leeds volunteers an award for their Hospice garden

Their great creation of a jungle adventure garden at a children’s hospice has resulted in a top award nomination for staff from a Leeds independent estate agency.

Horsforth-based Linley & Simpson could now be crowned Most Charitable Business in the Yorkshire Choice awards.

The multi-branch agency has Martin House Hospice at Boston Spa as its charity partner, and in the last five years, its 260-plus staff have raised over £70,000 for the facility.

Emily Wilkinson, of Linley & Simpson, said: “The work of the hospice has touched the hearts of everyone working here, so as a home-grown Yorkshire business we are all thrilled to have been nominated in these awards.

“We hope our work inspires others to follow in our footsteps and support the amazing hospice team that so many of us have reason to thank.”

All winners are chosen by an online public poll. Members of the community can cast their vote at www.yorkshirechoiceawards.co.uk before February 1.
