and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
If you haven’t already heard of the fastest-growing sport in the world – padel tennis – you soon will.
It’s an affordable, accessible racquet sport and the UK’s largest premium indoor centre has been created in Harrogate, Yorkshire, thanks to its CEO Stuart Perrin, a local resident in the area.
Surge Padel, set up by lifelong sports and fitness club operator and Yorkshireman Stuart, has the finest courts, leagues and leisure facilities, which all add up to make padel your passion, and kick-start a whole new love of sport and social fun combined.

What is it?
Like a cross between tennis and squash, each indoor court is glass walled; you play in teams of four, serving underhand, making it a fast-paced, yet sociable and accessible sport.
Who is it for?
In a word – everybody! It’s the world’s fastest growing sport, and Stuart and his team at Surge Padel, Harrogate, have invested heavily in the grass roots game, setting up junior leagues and training to see numbers soar. Suitable for all ages and abilities, it’s growing so quickly for a very good reason – people love it!
Facilities
Endorsed and associated with the Lawn Tennis Association and Adidas, the set up at Surge Padel serves up nothing but the best. It’s the first for Surge Padel in the UK and already the largest indoor centre in the country, but plans are well under way to expand it across the country, including more centres in Yorkshire. For now, there are six premium Adidas courts, luxury changing facilities and a relaxing bar to unwind and refuel after any match.
