On-demand GP services available in the centre of Leeds
Private GP Services has opened a new practice at Gateway West, East Street, Leeds, conveniently located for residents and workers in Leeds.
It offers a pay-as-you-go service for face-to-face consultations, lasting 15 minutes or longer, and telephone appointments.

Designed to complement your regular GP service this new practice provides health care with experienced professional doctors who have the time for you. Services include general practice, health screening and medicals, vaccinations, sexual health, women’s health, men’s health, children’s health, travel clinics, and more.
The 6000 sq foot private GP clinic has seven consultation rooms and free customer parking – ideal for those with busy lives who are looking for instant access to a doctor for themselves or their family.
Sibel Peck, founder and Clinical Director for Private GP Services explained that this is a service that offers “an alternative and easier way to access GP appointments” – and patients are always encouraged to remain registered with their NHS GP practice.

You can make an appointment here for all of the same ailments that you would see your regular GP for – but there’s more.
The practice offers a range of services for you and your family, such as sexual health checks and vaccinations including for yellow fever and travel reasons. It also offers services specifically for men’s health and women’s health.
It also offers full health screening – an MOT for your body, just as you would for your car! You can choose your well-person check from three different packages, depending on your requirements. Being proactive and identifying issues early is key to keeping yourself fit and well.
Medicals can be needed for a host of reasons. Here you can get your HGV and taxi drivers, visas, employment, performance and pre-sporting event medicals quickly and easily.
The service provides support for a range of men’s health issues, including prostate checks and testosterone services with extended check-ups. Its prostate appointments include a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test, which is a blood test to help diagnose prostate problems.
It provides a range of treatments, investigations, screenings, and preventative treatment options for women’s issues, including menopause, fertility, menstrual cycles (irregular or heavy periods), breast care, pelvic pain disorders, and gynaecological cancers including cervical or ovarian cancer.
The clinicians are here to help you, with a range of treatments, investigations, screenings, and preventative treatment options to suit your needs. These include Dr Sibel Peck, who has specialist knowledge of menopause and women’s health issues, Dr Jo McConnell, who has an interest in tropical disease, gynaecology/sexual health and musculoskeletal problems and Dr Kai Ng, who has a special interest in diabetes, cardiovascular medicine and musculoskeletal joints injections. There are also experienced nurses and travel specialists in the team.
The service offers family-friendly healthcare support for children’s issues too, including acute care and chronic medical problems.
History
The original Private GP Services opened in Chelmsford, Essex, 21 years ago. After significant investment from C7 Health the brand has now expanded into Leeds in June, and is due to open another practice in St Albans next month.
