Staff at Brown Butler, in the city centre, have taken part in various fundraising events over the past 12 months after pledging to support the charity in 2020.

The firm has now been able to hand over more than £3,900 to the hospice after a serious of challenges including a 90-mile bike ride along the coast from Leeds to Filey, a race night and a Christmas jumper day.

The money raised by the company will be used by Martin House to continue to provide vital care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions - and their families.

Throughout the pandemic, the hospice has continued to adapt its services to its specialist care, which has included dealing with a growing demand for care at home.

In April last year, it was forced to launch an online fundraising appeal after anticipating a loss of over £1.7m in essential funding due to the crisis.
