Cost of living in Leeds: The nine 'coldest' neighbourhoods where people are worst hit by the energy crisis

The ‘coldest’ areas of Leeds that are being hit hardest by the energy crisis have been identified in a new report.

Campaign group Friends of the Earth analysed which neighbourhoods in England and Wales had both lowest incomes and the least energy-efficient homes. Homes in these areas are the hardest to heat due to low energy efficiency ratings, making energy use and bills higher than average, and where most people are also living on low incomes.

Nine Leeds neighbourhoods were identified as among the 100 ‘coldest’ in Yorkshire in the report. Here are the neighbourhoods being worst hit by the energy crisis.
