Dr Yvette Oade, Chief Medical Officer at the Trust said: “We are currently caring for two patients who have tested positive for the COVID-19 infection.

“They are being well cared for, with all of the appropriate protection measures in place, and I would like to wish them both a very speedy recovery.”

Visitors can now only visit Leeds hospitals between 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm, limited to two visitors per hospital bed.

All visitors are required to wash their hands with soap and water as soon as arriving at the hospital, again on arrival at a ward or clinical area and when leaving the ward or clinical area.
