Two cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed at Lawnswood School, Leeds City Council has said.

All pupils and staff who have been impacted are now self-isolating for two weeks.

A spokesperson for Leeds City Council said: “Two cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed at Lawnswood School.

Any student or member of staff impacted by this will now stay home and self-isolate for 14 days.

“The school is continuing to follow guidance from Public Health England and is being supported by council officers.

"The school is also communicating directly with parents and carers who are affected.

“All schools in Leeds have safety procedures and detailed risk assessments in place to help limit the spread of the virus.”
