A total of 27 new coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Yorkshire - including two in Leeds hospitals.

NHS England releases updated figures each day showing the dates of every coronavirus-related death at hospitals in England, often including previously uncounted deaths that took place several days or even weeks ago.

The death toll from the virus in the county now stands at 3,280.

Further deaths have been recorded by trusts across Yorkshire.

Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust: 3

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 1

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust: 1

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 4

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 1

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust: 2

Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust: 5

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust: 2

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 5

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 2

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust: 1
