Total of 23 new coronavirus deaths recorded across Yorkshire

NHS England releases updated figures each day showing the dates of every coronavirus-related death at hospitals in England, often including previously uncounted deaths that took place several days or even weeks ago.

Further deaths have been recorded by trusts across Yorkshire.

The highest number of new deaths were recorded by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with nine deaths.

The death toll from the virus in Yorkshire now stands at 3,341.

In Leeds, a total of 404 people have died from Covid.

The new deaths have been recorded by the following trusts:

Airedale NHS Foundation Trust: 1

Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust: 1

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust: 1

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 9

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust: 1

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 1

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust: 1

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 2

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust:: 5

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust: 1
