This is what Yorkshire Evening Post readers think about working from home post-lockdown

Our lockdown survey, published across this title and 150 others across the UK last week, gives an insight into how the crisis has impacted people in Leeds, and what they would like to see happen in the coming weeks and months.

In total we asked readers 25 questions on their attitude towards the lockdown, and of these two focused on how people feel about working from home.

35.77 per cent of Yorkshire Evening Post readers who completed our survey said they have had to work from home for the first time or to a much greater extent due to the coronavirus outbreak.

By comparison, on a national level, 40 per cent answered that they haven’t, 34 per cent said they have and 25 per cent said this question wasn’t applicable.

We also asked to what extent readers of the YEP would like to continue working from home - even after restrictions are lifted.

The majority of readers who took part in the survey responded i'd like to work from home some of the time.

Nationally, 43 per cent answered ‘I’d like to work from home some of the time’, 25 per cent answered ‘I’d like to work from home most of the time’, 18 per cent said ‘I don’t want to work from home at all’ and 9 per cent answered ‘I’d like to work entirely from home’.
