New Office for National Statistics figures have recorded the number of deaths across Leeds in January 2021, where Covid-19 was the main cause on the death certificate. The figures record the home address of patients who have died, listing the total number of deaths in each Middle Super Output Area (MSOA) of the city - a geographic measure of approximately 8,000 people. Coronavirus deaths were recorded across 70 MSOAs in Leeds in January, but sadly these neighbourhoods had more deaths than the rest of the city. All images are for illustrative purposes only.
