The latest figures, for the seven days to April 18, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people. Data for the most recent days has been excluded as it is incomplete and does not reflect the true number of cases. Calderdale had a rate of 31.2 (66 cases) in the seven days to April 18, up from 27.9 (59 cases) the previous week.
14. Scarborough
Scarborough had a rate of 24.8 (27 cases) in the seven days to April 18, up from 16.6 (18 cases) the previous week.
15. Harrogate
Harrogate had a rate of 24.2 (39 cases) in the seven days to April 18, up from 19.3 (31 cases) the previous week.
16. Hambleton, North Yorkshire
Hambleton had a rate of 7.6 (seven cases) in the seven days to April 18, down from 8.7 (eight cases) the previous week.
17. York
York had a rate of 14.7 (31 cases) in the seven days to April 18, up from 11.4 (24 cases) the previous week.
18. Ryedale, North Yorkshire
Ryedale had a rate of 14.4 (eight cases) in the seven days to April 18, down from 25.3 (14 cases) the previous week.
