The latest figures, for the seven days to January 28, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people. Data for the most recent four days (January 29-February 1) has been excluded as it is incomplete and does not reflect the true number of cases. Scarborough had a rate of 318.1 (346 cases) in the seven days to January 8, down from 356.8 (388 cases) the previous week.
14. Barnsley
Barnsley had a rate of 258.4 (638 cases) in the seven days to January 8, down from 288.8 (713 cases) the previous week.
15. Bradford
Bradford had a rate of 299.2 (1615 cases) in the seven days to January 8, up from 232.7 (1256 cases) the previous week.
16. Calderdale
Calderdale had a rate of 295.6 (625 cases) in the seven days to January 8, up from 270.5 (572 cases) the previous week.
17. Wakefield
