The city council's chief executive urged people to stay at home to 'keep the new variant at bay' as the rate fell for two consecutive days. It's down from 355 new cases per 100,000 people on Saturday January 9 to 332.6 new cases per 100,000 people on Monday January 11. But infection rates vary across the city's Middle Super Output Areas (MSOA) - a geographic measure of approximately 7,200 people - and some Leeds neighbourhoods have even lower rates of infection than the city's average. These are the Leeds areas with the lowest infection rates in the seven days to January 6, the latest available figures. All images are for illustrative purposes only.
