It comes after Leeds was going to be placed into Tier 3 restrictions due to high coronavirus rates - but this is no longer going ahead, the West Yorkshire Combined Authority confirmed. Some Leeds neighbourhoods have emerged as particular areas of concern, with the infection rate reaching more than 500 new cases per 100,000 people in 15 areas of the city.
