Data complied by the Office for National Statistics shows the number and percentage of deaths caused by Covid-19 and registered between March 2020 and February 2021.
These are the 16 Leeds area that saw the highest percentage of deaths related to Covid-19.
7. Seacroft North & Monkswood
A total of 29 per cent of all deaths in the area of Seacroft North & Monkswood were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 118 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 34 deaths were related to Covid-19.
8. Holbeck
A total of 28 per cent of all deaths in the area of Holbeck were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 95 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 27 deaths were related to Covid-19.
9. Moortown
A total of 26 per cent of all deaths in the area of Moortown were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 85 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 22 deaths were related to Covid-19.

A total of 26 per cent of all deaths in the area of Robin Hood, Lofthouse & Middleton Lane were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 70 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 18 deaths were related to Covid-19.

A total of 25 per cent of all deaths in the area of Churwell were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 71 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 18 deaths were related to Covid-19.
12. Oakwood
A total of 25 per cent of all deaths in the area of Lady Wood & Oakwood were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 150 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 38 deaths were related to Covid-19.
