Single coronavirus death recorded in Leeds hospitals in month of July

It has now been more than two weeks since a coronavirus death was recorded in a Leeds hsopital.

Figures released by Public Health show the date of the last death in Leeds was July 15.

This was the only death recorded in the month of July in Leeds.

No new coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Yorkshire according to the daily update figures released on Saturday August 1.

There has been a total of 334 deaths in Leeds hospitals from coronavirus.

Across Yorkshire, 2,895 people have sadly died.
