Private Covid testing site reopens at Emerald Headingley Stadium in Leeds

The ExpressTest screenings centre shut briefly due to government restrictions.

It is reopening on Thursday, February 4.

The site offers a PCR swab tests that are available to the public for £99.

Results are available the next day and are sent via email or text.

Tests are £80 for people permitted to travel abroad who require a Fit to Fly certificate.

It is advised to schedule a test 48-96 hours prior to their departure time, as a precaution.

Those who screen negative will be emailed a Fit to Fly certificate that is authorised by a doctor, along with their test result.

Sue Ward, Operations Director at the Emerald Headingley Stadium said: "It’s great that those who require a private test can simply book an appointment slot with Express Test and receive the result the next day.

"We’ve worked closely with Express Test over the last few months to enable a drive through testing site to be implemented at Emerald Headingley.

"We are really proud to be able to offer our facilities and work with Express Test to deliver this service to the Leeds community.

"It’s a win, win situation for Express Test, the City and the Club."

To book a test, visit www.expresstest.co.uk and select a date and time.

Customers will then be sent a QR code which they must bring with them to their appointment, along with their passport.

Payment will be taken during the booking process.

Opening hours are 10am – 6pm and customers are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to appointments.
