One further confirmed Covid-19 death at hospital in Yorkshire

Public Health England has confirmed that one further person has died from Covid-19 in a Yorkshire hospital.

The person died in a hospital in Doncaster on Thursday, July 2, according to the figures.

There were no other deaths recorded across the region.

There has been 2,844 Covid-19 deaths in Yorkshire.

Public Health England has confirmed that one further person has died from Covid-19 in a Yorkshire hospital.

Across England, a further 18 people, who tested positive for coronavirus have died.

The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England is 28,889.

Patients were aged between 54 and 94 years old.

All patients had known underlying health conditions.

This data is correct as of 2pm on Sunday, July 5.
