No new coronavirus deaths were announced in the daily update in Yorkshire for the first time since lockdown began.

A total of 2,840 deaths have been recorded in the county from coronavirus.

However, Friday July 3 is the first time no new deaths were announced within data published by Public Health England.

Leeds has the highest death toll in the region with a total of 333 deaths in the city's hospitals.
